02nd Of September 2007:

This is the third time already, and unfortunately I didn't get to greet a number of people this year due to some not being able to attend because of having to travel long distances, work obligations or their dogs having injuries. But this year there were also some new faces. We started this year at 10.00. The first people were already present, rapidly making coffee, cutting the cake and welcoming everyone.

Some of the guests were present this year for the third time and that is monumental. After coffee, a proposal was made that one could also go tracking. Unfortunately we missed our Kor this year who is a devoted tracker, therefore Klaas brought all the people who were interested in Phase A to the tracking fields. Also, this year some people were game and joined with another breed, which gave a varied angle to the day.

People who did not want to go tracking started with Phase B. At the last moment Evert Bakker with his KNPV dog Aras registered himself and even arranged a handler. This is outstanding; I must honestly admit that I have slid this year by organizing the seminar with Bart Bellon, and put the training day in second place.

Also, we greeted the Africhtingcommissaris Jan Reuvekamp of the NHC. This is a very positive thing since this man participates himself in the NHC and his breed. We hope that next year we will be able organize with him the open Dutch championship IPO. Also Ina Lugtenborg and Pauline van Vliet were present.

But this day was all about the Trainings Day. There were several combinations from both the Netherlands, Germany and supporters from Finland. Unfortunately this year it was not possible to monitor and/or ring complete demonstrations, but our beautiful KNPV and IPO programs were taken into broad consideration.

There were puppies starting at 10 weeks of age to adult dogs, all of whom showed something. The pups were playing or fighting. The young dogs in advancement experienced a new field with other circumstances. The progressed dogs could enjoy a beautiful bit work by several package workers. Every dog at its own level was here and received some recommendations, voluntary or involuntary. At 16.00 the pups of our last litter came to the field. How they have grown, 13 weeks and already tiny dogs. I have given the present owners their pedigree. Of course, all the offspring with their granny, aunt, mummy and daddy and all children had to be photographed together. And after that we enjoyed the BBQ.

Unfortunately some people had leave us early due to the long distances that they had to travel to return to their homes. The BBQ and talking about the dogs was enjoyed very much by all Afterwards everyone turned homeward, full and satisfied at 20.00.
